Klaus Helmrich was CEO of the Industry Division Drive Technologies and is since April 2011 member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG. As Chief Technology Officer he constantly drives cross sector initiatives such as smart grid and open innovation to include external partners in Siemens’ value chain.

Dr. Jan Michael Mrosik

Designated Siemens Chief Executive Officer Divison Smart Grid

Dr. Jan Michael Mrosik studied electrical engineering and economics at RWTH Aachen University, where he earned his doctorate in laser radar sensing technology. Mrosik began his career at Siemens in 1996 in Information and Communication Networks (ICN) in Munich. In 1998, he took over the responsibility for the Siemens Communications business with Vodafone D2. In 2002, Mrosik transferred to Siemens Telecommunications Pty (Ltd) in South Africa. There, he first took over the management of the Information and Communications Mobile Division. In 2005 he assumed the role of the CEO of the company and took over the responsibility for the entire Communications business of Siemens in Southern Africa. Since 2008 Dr. Jan Michael Mrosik has been running the Business Unit Energy Automation within the Energy Sector. Since May 2011 Dr. Jan Michael Mrosik is designated as "Siemens Chief Executive Officer Divison Smart Grid".
